Crüe's Canine Approach
We use cruelty-free methods focused on positive reinforcement and evidence-based practices. What we love most is introducing new ways to train dogs and puppies with different reinforcements and fun games for owners. For example, using your dog's favourite toy instead of treats, or using multiple kinds of treats to keep things interesting. We'll teach you games to reinforce recall and enrichment activities to help redirect destructive behaviours, making training effective and enjoyable for both of you.
Training Packages
All training sessions are private, one-on-one sessions designed to give you and your dog focused attention.
Choose virtual (Zoom) or in-person during booking - both options provide the same effective training and personalized guidance.
In-person sessions can take place at Crüe's Canine Campus, your home, local parks/trails, or other environments where you and your dog need support. In-person training is available in Prince George and surrounding areas, with travel fees of $0.72 per kilometre (round trip) for locations beyond 15km from our campus.
Virtual sessions ensure you receive expert training regardless of distance, working effectively whether you're at home or need to practice in external environments like parks or neighbourhoods. We'll work together to find creative solutions, like using headphones, a tripod, or working with a friend/training partner, that make outdoor virtual training manageable and safe for your specific situation.
Note: Up to two additional dogs can be added to General Training sessions for $10 per dog. For safety reasons, Reactive & Aggressive Training is limited to one dog per session with the exception of multi-dog homes.
Reactive & Aggressive Dog Training

If you're feeling overwhelmed by your dog's aggressive or reactive behaviours, you're not alone. Whether your dog is showing fear-based reactions, displaying aggression toward people or other dogs, or you're simply unsure how to move forward safely, this assessment is designed to give you clarity and hope.
Working with reactive or aggressive dogs requires understanding the full picture before creating a safe, effective training plan. This comprehensive assessment goes beyond surface behaviours to identify triggers, underlying causes, and the best path forward for your unique situation.
What we'll accomplish: A thorough behaviour history review combined with careful observation of your dog helps us understand what's driving unwanted behaviours. You'll receive a detailed written plan outlining your dog's triggers, recommended strategies, and next steps, plus clear insights and professional recommendations for moving forward - whether that means beginning specialized training, consulting your veterinarian, or implementing management strategies.

Sessions spaced 1-2 weeks apart or as needed (within reason) allow us to work through complex challenges systematically, building a strong foundation for lasting change and addressing multiple goals as your dog progresses.

General Dog & Puppy Training

What we'll accomplish: The 4-pack is a focused and short-term option to kickstart your dog's training with consistency and purpose. Four targeted sessions spaced 1-2 weeks apart or as needed provide the consistency dogs need to form new habits. Session content and pacing will be customized to your dog's learning style and your family's specific goals. Most dogs show significant improvement in target behaviours by session four, and owners gain the foundation skills needed for continued success and future training goals.

With more time together, we can deeply customize each session to your dog's unique learning style, address multiple goals, and adapt our approach as your dog progresses and new challenges emerge.
