About Crüe's Canine Campus

The Journey Behind Our Expertise

We've been where you might be: wondering how to help our dog thrive, searching for answers that actually work, and hoping to find someone who truly understands the challenges we're facing.

Evidence-Based Training, Experience-Driven Understanding

I'm Jenna Korolek, the founder of Crüe's Canine Campus. My journey began when my partner and I got our first dog, Crüe, in 2021. What started as private training sessions quickly turned into something more when our trainer recognized a natural talent in me and encouraged me to pursue dog training professionally. At the time, I was studying Health Science at UNBC, but I couldn't stop thinking about how amazing it would be to work with different dogs every day and watch them learn and grow.

I found a comprehensive program through The Good Dog Academy where I completed 17 theory modules, 12 hands-on courses, and my Canine First Aid Certification, graduating with a GDA-PPT in early 2024. My love for learning canine behaviour and working with dogs' natural instincts only grew stronger.

Crüe has always been an incredible training partner, but over time he began showing signs of reactivity and aggressive behaviour. When we experienced conflict with another dog at home, I reached out to our local trainer and was turned away. That isolating experience pushed me deeper into behavioural theory and made me determined to understand reactivity and aggression compassionately.

A turning point came in summer 2024 when I met with a behaviour specialist in Edmonton who gave us hope and new perspectives. After this trip, I knew I wanted to help other families navigate similar challenges. This passion led me to pursue advanced training in aggression and reactivity cases through the Aggression in Dogs Master Course, taught by world-renowned experts in canine behaviour and veterinary behaviourists. Through this program, I completed in-depth training in safety protocols, behaviour change strategies, risk assessment, and working with complex aggression cases from start to finish.

I'm passionate about ensuring dog owners in Northern BC feel supported and empowered to help their dogs thrive, no matter the obstacles.

We start with
understanding.

Every new client begins with a detailed intake form so we can understand your dog's personality, environment, and your goals.

Once we've reviewed your information, we'll confirm your selected package or recommend a better fit.

Then we'll reach out directly with appointment options that work for your schedule.

We train with
empathy.

All sessions use positive reinforcement techniques backed by science and built around your dog's pace and needs.

We believe training should feel good for both you and your dog, which is why we never use intimidation or fear-based methods.

Instead, we focus on building confidence and creating positive associations that respect your dog's individual temperament.

We personalize
everything.

From one-off sessions to multi-week programs, we tailor our plans to your lifestyle and your dog's unique challenges.

Whether you're working with an energetic puppy, a rescue dog with behavioral concerns, or an older dog learning new habits, we adapt our approach to meet you where you are.

We consider your schedule, situation, and experience level to create a training plan that fits into your real life.
